My Must-haves | AUTUMN & WINTER

Hello! Autumn and Winter have to be my favourite months on the year; Christmas, the cold weather, cozy nights in, Halloween, bonfires and big jumpers! That feeling you get when you know you have a Christmas scented Lush bath bomb waiting for you for when you get home from work. Pamper evenings, Tomato soup that's hotter than the sun! Anyway, I'm getting away from the point! I've put together a list on my beauty, fashion & random must-haves if you, like me want to make the most out of the Autumn/Winter months.

Firstly, I'm going to start with one of my favourite things about winter. The Christmas Lush products!

The Lush 'Secret Santa' (£5.75 each) bath bomb is lovely, its pretty big so you should get more than one bath out of it. With the calming scent of ylang ylang as well as uplifting limes, Secret Santa is sure to put you in a good mood. The bathwater will turn a bright orange colour and there’s a mini red Father Christmas hiding inside the grotto.

The Lush 'Christmas Eve' bubble bar (£2.95 each) This is great to use after long days at work, when you have parties or nightclubs to go to. Its really refreshing, wakes you up and also leaves you smelling fantastic. This bubble bar was invented for those times when you are getting ready for a big event. Soak in a bath and relax in mountains of bubbles and rise with a hint of sensual jasmine fragrance lingering on your body, its so good!

This is the last Lush product I'll mention in this post, I promise. This is the So White Lush bath bomb (£3.25 each) So White has a crisp and delicate apple fragrance and will create a beautiful rose coloured bath. After its white outside layer dissolves, the secret pink centre will slowly fizz and bubble. Bicarb will soften your bathwater and the fresh apple fragrance will waft up through the steam helping you to feel calm and peaceful.

Ok, so I'm now going to move onto the other beauty products in my must-have list;

Reamin luxury hand cream (30ml-£1.80 & 300ml-£12.90 ex VAT) is brilliant, I recently went to salon international and there was a stall for this product and they where doing an offer where you can get the small tube for £1 if you liked their Facebook page or followed them on Twitter. I love a bargain and I'm so happy I got this. Its perfect for hairdressers because it also acts as a barrier against nasty chemicals in perm lotion and other things. Its quite waxy but sinks in quick and leaves my hands smooth all day. It also protects against dermatitis and other dry hand conditions. Love it! Brilliant for the cold harsh winter weather!

This is the Rimmel London stay matte concealer. Now, be prepared because I'm going to have a quick rant. I brought this product in Poundland (yes, Poundland!) for a pound, obviously! But I've just looked online and its going for £5-6!!! Its ridiculous! But this concealer has great coverage especially in winter because of the rain wind snow and stuff. Its great, stays on for hours and its tiny so you can carry where it takes up no room at all. So guys here's a quick lesson, just because its in poundland (or other poundshops) doesn't make it bad, well unknown branded ones probably are but this is a well known global brand! So next time you're strapped for cash, give poundland a go!

Now I'm going to move onto hair;
This is 'Short sexy hair, rocked out moulding clay'. I got this at salon international 2013 along with 11 other products in a goody bag for £10! Bargain ay! Anyway, I love the Sexy Hair range. This one is brilliant, its sticky so you do have to be brave when putting it in your hair because its gloopy and almost like PVA glue at primary school! Just make sure that you rub it into your fingers and hands fully before applying. It has a fantastic hold whilst allowing movement to styles. Great for adding texture and definition to the hair this molding clay will leave you with a semi-matte finish.

This is Schwarzkopf Got2b Oil-Licious Tame and Shine Styling Oil (around £3-4 I think...) It comes in a 50ml pump bottle but you literally need half a pump if that. But this is perfect for winter, it really smooth's untamed, frizzy hair and gives it a sleek style. It works well on damaged hair too, it makes my hair feel a lot better. Love this stuff.

This is the Macadamia natural oil hair repair masque for dry and damaged hair. I recently went to salon international recently and spent just £10 on a pot of this, I got the bigger one because in the long run you saved more but anyway, this stuff is amazing! You leave it on for ten minuets and then wash out just as you would a shampoo or conditioner and it leaves your hair smelling amazing, and feeling even better. I change my hair a lot so understandably it feels quite rough and damaged but this masque sorted it right out. This is defiantly a product that I would recommend to anyone that had even slightly damaged hair. It also is good for un-damaged hair also, it just gives it a moisture top up and leaves your hair feeling even better and even shinier that it was before because even if you don't damage your hair yourself, the harsh winter weather does and you want to keep your hair shiny and smooth! I'm really sorry I don't know I proper price for this, pretty useless really!

Well that's my hair & beauty must-haves for autumn & winter. I want to do maybe a favourites post or something soon! As always please feel free to comment and follow my blog. Have a good day!

Hairstyles thoughout the years | RIHANNA

Hello! I'm Reece and this is the first post on my brand new shiny blog! I've written a little about myself and this blog at the end but you will learn more about me, my job and my passion in future blog posts.

With edgy bangs and close-cropped back, Rihanna's haircut's always manage to turn heads in the public eye. If you're looking for a way to stand out then check out these photos from Rihanna's past haircuts. Whether it's Long or short, colourful or natural, she always rocks it!

August 27, 2005 in the Flushing neighbourhood of the Queens borough of New York.

Rihanna Style - August 2005
Natural Rih Rih! This cut and colour makes her look so young! With a one length cut with maybe a few layers. The brunette gave Riri an almost innocent, and fresh look. She went back to this colour in 2011/12, but with an afoesque feel, (We found love, Talk that talk era) But this was how Rihanna entered the public eye, and it was all up from there!

November 2nd, Rihanna at the 13th annual MTV Europe Music Awards 2006

Rihanna - November 2006
So a year on and Rihanna changes her straight light style to a curly and dark doo. Still staying one length, but the curls and length frame her face beautifully. The curls look amazing in the dark brown, I have to say I love this, Stunning.

MTV's Total Request Live at the MTV Times Square Studios on May 8, 2007 in New York City.

BOOM! The black bob arrives! Classic Rih Rih! This cut goes beyond a simple bob. The a-symmetrical length adds a bit of edge, This was the first major change for Rihanna, Saying 'I wanted to come back with a new look, a new feel to the album' This Is one of the reasons I love Rihanna, she adds a new feel to every album. I feel like this is where she started to discover herself as an artist, and her style. The short graduation is one of my favourite haircuts and is almost always bang on trend. Iconic Rihanna, she experimented with streaks of colour, one maybe two slash foils in the front of flashes bright purple and vibrant blues which compliment the black.

Late 2007. Unknown time and Location.

This one length bob really suits Rihanna's heart shaped face, The full fringe and no layers give this haircut a modern feel, Unfortunately she didn't keep this style for too long. She switched up her hairstyles quite a lot when it was short and I wish I had the time to sit and write about all of them, but I'm rounding them up into certain pictures. She also experimented with colours on the sides and you can see this is the video for 'shut up and drive' plus, the haircut from above also features in the video.

Rihanna - June 2008
So we move on to the shortest of Rihanna's hair I've wrote about (so far!) & I love this, the pixie cut is one of my favourite Rihanna styles and she re-visits this many more times in the future. the colour is beautiful, The medium brown with red undertones, and almost a purple hue. the choppiness is achieved by cutting into it, and it is gorgeous! It suites her perfectly because people (like Rihanna) That have heart shaped faces can get away with most (if not all) Hairstyles.

Rihanna - November 2008
This Short grad' look gives a boyish but feminine feel. I love how short it is, I also love the length kept on top. Rihanna wears her hair curly and straight with this style and it still looks beautiful. Perfectly shaped probably using heated rollers/regular rollers. I love the sides of this style the point is almost a short Vidal Sassoon type cut. (Sorry about this over sized picture, not sure what happened!)

Rihanna attends the RIAA and Feeding America's Inauguration Charity Ball at Ibiza on January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC.

 Rihanna's Boy Cut - January 2009
Rihanna started 2009 with her customary short cut, this time with a boyish feel, This is the same as the photo above, but shorter, more layered on top, and lighter colour swaying into the brunette/black. I love it when Rihanna has almost bowl cut styles, she may well be one of the only people to get away with it. I think with this style its the sides and layers in the back. Giving it a stylish fell rather than a bowl on your head and shave away!

Rihanna arrives at the Balmain Pret a Porter show as part of the Paris Womenswear Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 on October 1, 2009 at Intercontinental Paris Grand Hotel in Paris, France.

Rihanna - October 2009
Rihanna's stylist uses a shoe shine technique to create the blonde on the tip of her Mohawk. Taking the side shorted to shaved, and the back also shaved and cut into a V cut as Mohawks can be.

Singer Rihanna attends the Glamour Magazine 2009 Women of The Year Honours at Carnegie Hall on November 9, 2009 in New York City.

 Rihanna - November 2009
Blondanna! This is one of Rihanna's first appearances as a blonde. She says she wanted a change from dark for her new album (Rated R) This album has a dark, sinister feel and I love it. I feel like this is the turning point where Rihanna really came into herself. I love that this album especially shows what place she is at in her life, as most of you who weren't hiding under a rock in 2009 will know what happened to her and Chris Brown. I feel there are certain songs that really make you aware of how she feels. It still remains one of my favourite albums. To be honest, I'm not fond on the way she is wearing her hair, but I love the blonde.

Pop star Rihanna attends a photo call during a short promotional tour in Sydney for her new album 'Rated R' at the Intercontinental Hotel on February 14, 2010 in Sydney, Australia.

Rihanna - February 2010
Rihanna briefly sports her boyish style again during this photo shoot. Love this simple one length style that brings it to life with the brown flash though the fringe. I love this style on Rihanna, Beautiful.

On stage during Rock in Rio Madrid Festival on June 5, 2010 in Arganda del Rey, Spain.

Rihanna - June 2010
Rihanna's left the blonde behind, at least for a while. Her look here features a vibrant, show-stealing red and the same style as the previous hairstyle, but an almost bald back and sides, maybe a 1-1/2 with clippers . The first, of the 'Rihanna red' doo's that the world LOVED and copied! (including myself)

Sirius XM radio studios on 15th November 2010

Here she magically, uh, "grew out" her cropped red hair overnight and showed up at Sirius XM radio studios with long red locks. I'm pretty sure this is a wig as opposed to extensions, since the top layers seem so continuously long. So I'm guessing this is a temporary thing. But it's a good wig, no? Looks like it could be her real hair.

Photoshoot for her first perfume, January 2011

love this, the colour and style give her sophistication, class and elegance. Defiantly set to curl so nicely, I think here she had gotten maybe a weave or extensions because her hair could've grown out enough.

Unknown location. April, 2011

The S&M video would be where you would've known this style from. Because of the bold style a more sutler red works really well. Unfortunately the world didn't take to this style very well calling her 'Sideshow Bob' after the Simpson's character. Personally, I really like it.

LOUD tour. October 2011.

Rihanna has revisited her brunette locks for a while, keeping it in the same style which is strange for RiRi but I Really like the way she pins on side back, and the layers make the curls look beautiful. I think this haircut showed off the vibe of talk that talk which was one of my favourite albums. About not giving to much of a fuss, but making it glamorous at the same time.

Unknown location, February 2012

Blondanna returns with a bang. I love the heavy grown out fringe that shapes her face perfectly as does the length and the way the roots are showing her natural hair colour gives it a natural feel, even though we know Rihanna's not a natural blonde. The colour is beautiful and it gives a fresh sexy feel!

Rihanna's debuts 'side shave' hair style in Japan 02 April 2012

I love this, dark on Rih Rih is so beautiful, side shaves where bang on trend at that time. Even did it myself! my style in April was based on this; black, shaved on the side and the fringe. I love the length and the fact its quite a different part of it shaved in a directional triangle way.

MTV Music awards, 2012

We couldn’t believe our eyes when Rihanna rocked up to the MTV Video Music Awards with a shock pixie crop! The star ditched her long curls to opt for the close cut – and we reckon it suits her, too. Is there any style she can’t pull off?

Victoria's Secret fashion show, 2012

Here’s that lovely curly hairstyle from the side. If you’re planning on playing copycat, compliment your berry lip colour with lashings of mascara and shadow-free lids.

Unknown location. 2013

Hello oh-so-pretty RiRi! We're used to seeing RiRi rocking fierce crops and dramatic up-dos, so it's a surprise to see the Bajan beauty out and about with long, flowing brunette locks. She looks fab, as always. Excuse the half closed eyes, it was the only photo I could find!

April 2013, Out and about in town.

Blonde is back, but I prefer this warmer honey blonde and still keeping the shaved side with curls that compliment her beautiful face as always.

Instagram photo, Europe July 2013

Grey is the new black, darling. According to Rihanna, that is, who posted a shot of her new hair with the caption: "New color ice grey ish, call it #Brrr. Grey is the new black! Blondies, it's quiet for y'all!" There you have it... I love it, only Rihanna could pull of grey hair and look amazing.

And there we have it, Rihanna's hair from 2005 to now. I would love to add to this post or make a part two once RiRi has updated her hairstyle a few more times, which if her track record is anything to go by will be in the near-future.
